613 Avenue Create , Sitting Fairy

Hiya..I was absolutely thrilled this week to be doing this card..All the others had to use a pick this and that in a create your own challenge ,but I did not and an other couple of us either ,I picked this pretty Bugaboo image to colour..Love their stamps they look fabulous coloured and really pop off the card too..I have coloured her onto Neenah Card using Polychromos pencils..The background is done with chalks they give a lovely soft effect. The stamp does not have the stump she is sitting on that is my own work . I used a Tattered lace Basic pin dot Die to cut her out then mounted her onto craft card ,cut in the next size die..The fancy die cuts on either side are Spellbinder's Victorian Medallion 2,  I cut this in half diagonally and added to the back of the cardI cut to back the fairy as you can see,it extends the diecuts and adds a pretty finish too.The backing papers are from First Editions Floral Pavilion and these have also been mounted onto craft card. To finish I added the topper with 3D glue gel then added some pre- made blooms finishing with hand cut leaves, some resin roses and a computer generated sentiment..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Same But Different My Besties UK DT Card

Its the Same but different time again ..This has been a real struggle for me this time ..I am not sporty at all,I would not pick this image but you know how it goes you start and it is going fine then things start going wrong, yep this is that one lol!..but I think I have managed to save it ..She has been coloured onto Neenah Solar white card with Polychromos Pencils ..The papers I have used are g.s.d designs Melody Ross Designer collection (Lydia Collection ) Stunning papers throughout These were mounted onto craft card..The dies used for the flowers are ftom CC and the Sara Davis Signature dies ,the flowers are from the Floral collection and the scrolls are from the Butterfly Lullaby Collection.. Once I had mounted the Bestie onto the craft card background I did the wiggly line thing around her and added it to the card with 3D glue gel..The flowers I shaped and added ,putting in pink pearls to bring in the pink from the Bestie and the larger flowers some pink/purple gems to pull in the raspberry colour from the backing papers..The lace I used has got tiny pearls down the center of it and just adds a special touch to it ..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Morgans Artworls Saturday Inspiration June

Hiya.. Todays inspiration card was coloured using Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I have used Crafters Companion English Country Garden Papers from the Sara Davis collection..These I have mounted onto Centura Pearl Pink card then onto plain white card for contrast..The die for the lace border is from CC Downton Abbey collection ,the first edition ,and the pretty butterfly is also from the English Country garden range. I have kept the backing papers soft so that it enhanced the image which has took two nights to colour lol!..oh for the love of colouring! ..Well worth it though .to finish I have added a computer generated label ,some faux pearls and a tiny gem flower to the center of the butterfly to finish..Thank you for popping by :) xx

Sasayakki Glitter ..To a Special Dad

Hiya,I chose this image as it reminded me of my Dad ..When I was young both Mum and Dad were always taking pictures of us..Mostly Dad as he was camera happy lol..I think that is why I just hate having my picture taken now.I used Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card to colour this image ..Played around with a stencil for the clouds and it sort of worked ,..but I think will stick to watercolour or chalks for stencils next time ..cannot be perfect every time .I drew a wiggly line thingy around the image to frame it before mounting it onto black card..I have used First Edition Papers called Neroli throughout , A very nice pad for mens cards and some are lovely for the girls too.,so a good all rounder..I have matted them all onto black card..For this one  I decided on making a feature of the layers rather than fancy decoration..There is not a lot we can choose for men most would not appreciate flowers or bows,..Well the men I know anyway lol!.,So to finish the card I have used a selection of buttons in the colours that I have used in the image ,thus bringing them from the image into the body of the card,,Rather than one I have layered one on top of another which gives it a bit of depth too.. Thank you for popping by Take care :)xx

Digital Delights By Louby Lou

I just love making cards like this ,such a great way to use up scraps of paper out of the forever filling box and the odd sheet of paper left over from a pad from oh..who knows when lol..Yes we all have those don't we ..I used a 8x8 card blank for this one ..First I had coloured the image using Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card ,then I fussy cut it out ..I cut the background to the size I wanted and used this as a guide ,then roughly cut the two pieces of green to the same width..Once done I roughly drew in some grass and cut both out ,then layered these two pieces onto the front of the card.I then stuck the cute panda onto the grass where i wanted it to go ..I left it for a few minutes to allow for the glue to set and then cut around the grass and the Panda..leaving a small white edge. This helped to strengthen the panda and stop it from leaning forward, nothing worse than a wilting card on the shelf. I then placed the background on and the three cut out clouds ..I put stitching around those to make a feature of them and to help them stand out a little more too.The last cloud I had Printed on Birthday Wishes before cutting it out..To finish I added a sprinkle of pretty small glitter flowers on the grass and drew on the leaves ..Such a fun card to make and a quick change of subject looks great on adults cards too ,a little something different  ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

My Little Alice

Todays card has been created using a artwork of my own ,some of my friends are aware i draw occasionally, but I have been asked to do some wedding invites of Alice in Wonderland ,and I thought I would play with the idea the other night ,so this is the result..You to can use this image ,just click on the picture below its free :)
I have used Crafter's Companion Papers from the English Garden Collection from Sara Davis's Signature collection..that was a long winded mouth full ,sorry he he !..These were mounted onto black card for drama, the image was coloured using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card, and the flowers were cut from free papers from a magazine using Dies from the same collection as the Paper pad The Sara Davis, Country Garden Collection...The flowers in this collection are just stunning,to finish I added gold faux pearls to the center of the flowers and some blue gems and heart..Sorry my colouring is slightly off this time ,but just been unwell and not quite back to normal yet ..Thank you for
visiting :)xx .

You may use this I have NOT taken the background off sorry ,but it is in large format and will size to any size you want. You only have to click on the image to enlarge it and right click Save  .. , Please remember it is my artwork and if you use it do not claim it as your own, but mine .. Christine Ingram ...Thank you

613 Avenue Create Dt project ,Create your own Challenge

Hiya, this was so much fun to do right from the lovely image from Kitty Bee Designs ,to the fun of the Stenciling ,which I have never done before ,and very difficult having my little fluffy helper putting her nose in and wanting the sponge ..Only popped it on the table ,she was off with it..Fur Babies are so funny, but make card making and projects difficult sometimes lol..
The image has been coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card and fussy cut out..I then used a pre- made tag I took from a Julie Nutting Tag-Pad..these are big tags and come in a bad of assorted colours and there are 48 in the pad ..great Ebay buy ,even though I had to wait as these came from America ,but was well worth the saving from buying over here.I used Spectrum Noir watercolour pens to do the stenciling..The stencils I created from Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations dies..a pic of them at the bottom,so you know which ones.I just used an old bit of sponge I had saved from some packing to stencil with as I did not want to get it too wet, even though the tags are thick (and double sided too).
I coloured the leaves in with the watercolour pens and used a Pitt pen to add the detail,also..I then added a solid line all around the tag with the green watercolour Pen then added faux stitching.. I added the sentiment and a line where the grass would be before gently curving the little Panda and adding him to the tag with 3D glue Gel..Thank you for popping by :)xx

My Besties UK ..Anything Goes With Flowers

Hiya..Today's card as usual is coloured with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card.I just loved this Bestie since I saw her a while ago so I got her to use for my next card..I have to admit I was going to do a really arty waves background with seashells and an octopus etc ,but unfortunately Friday and Saturday I was in Bed ..all I did was sleep as was so sick..but back and ok now.. The Background Paper and inside paper is from a paper pad by GCD studio entitiled "Melody Ross" Designers collection ,this pad being the Lydia Collection  One of my last cards used the beautiful flower paper and this is the fabulous green and blue foiled paper ..I was only going to use this ,but when I was laying the card out the leaves to the flowers got lost so I added a piece the zig zag paper, this was an off cut from the First Editions pad Nerroli,it has formed a good background for the flowers as well as a contrast to the shinyness of the backing paper ..The flowers are from Tonic Verso Range and these are the Apple Blossom flowers..they are really pretty too and are sort of wavy-ish too that is why I chose these .I backed the three larger blooms and left the smaller ones filigreed as I  felt they looked a little softer that way....Thanks for popping by xx

Sasayaki Glitter.. Male Card

Hiya today I have done a footie card for the new challenge at Sasayaki Glitter..What a super cute little fella he is too ..Firstly I coloured him in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card ,then drawing around the inside and the outside of some Xcut star dies I created the background that you see behind him..I used papers from the First Editions Neroli Paper Pad and mounted them onto black card..Once mounted onto the 8x8 base card I cut some red light card from my off-cut box and using a score board I embossed it with a check background..As it's the early hours of the morning I just did not want to get my machine out and this was the quietest option lol!..I then mounted this onto black card and glued aprox half way up the card..Then I mounted the image onto black card  and glued it in place with 3D glue gel ..The label I made using a smaller star from the same die set and hand wrote the sentiment..I then cut six stars in black card and added down either side of the image to finish..It makes a fab card for a little sports fan or even a big one ,and can easily be done in team colours ..I would have put a name on the shirt but there is no one for this card yet..Thank you for popping by..Happy crafting :)xx

New Release ..Digital Delights by Louby Lou

Hiya,These lovely alphabet digital stamps from Digital Delights are a really cute way of doing a card for a child using the initial as a feature..alternatively ,you could use all of them and make up a very colourful book and use it as a learning visual aid to teach your little one the alphabet..I have loved doing the two I have been asked to do..
I have coloured mine with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card, and I used Tonic Paper pads for the backing papers, both the image and the papers are all mounted onto craft card..Before I stuck the top pink layer down I applied some pretty cotton lace and some blue polka dot ribbon..I then used 3D glue gel to add the topper before adding the bow in the same ribbon ..To finish I added a mulberry paper flower from my stash and some pretty blue gems..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Sasayaki Glitter New Release

Today is New release day at Sasayaki Glitter and I chose this pretty fun image as I thought it lovely for the summer ,Yes I know What! Summer ..Have a little faith the day will come lol! .. I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..The background is my addition and not on the original digital stamp ..I used craft card to mount all my papers and my image on ,these were all from the First Editions Neroli pad as they went beautifully with the colours I chose for the image .I could not get any proper craft bags from my local Hobycraft when I went up ,but got these from one of  those pound saver shops ..Great cheap way for doing little bags for kiddies parties ,you do not need to hand colour ,but you could easily do quicker decorated bags and would be a great way to send the cake etc home with them. I have kept the theme sort of garden the flowers another poundland purchase from last year I layered and added some pretty blue gems that change to green in different light ..This brings the blue from the clouds and the green from the grass out too.I added the butterfly and added 3D gel between the wings to hold then upright once dry,,To finish I added a couple of faux blue pearls and a pretty spotted bow ..Thank you for popping by xx
