Caterpillar Lady

Hiya ..I have been working on this for ages..You won't find this digi any where it is all my own work..I have done this expecially for my Sons friend. This is inspired from Alice in Wonderland ,the caterpillar on the Mushroom..My Son loves this book and wants the theme for his wedding invites ,so should be very different .It has taken in excess of 20 hrs from the beginning to the end ,and really at the end of the day it is why I really wanted to learn to colour,as I was actually only drawing in graphite pencils before and dabbles in Water colours..but I lost all inspiration when I lost my Mum many years ago ..but have done the odd thing in between for others or myself occasionally in the last few years..
First I scanned the origional and turned it into a digital stamp as it was a lot larger ,then I have coloured her onto Neenah card using both Polychromos and Prisma Pencils..I then mounted her onto white, then Purple..The papers I have used are Santorio Mirabelle and are very glitter encapsulated as I have tried to show in the pictures..It gives the effect of a garden across the bottom of the card.I also used some lighter heart paper from the same pad to bring a break into the green ..The dies I have used for the flowers under and on the edge of the image are Tattered Lace  Mini Cherry Blossom which I cut in pink card and coloured the branches with a SN pen.All the papers are mounted onto Purple Centura Pearl..There are so many colours in the image that I tried to bring them into the out side of the image in the mat card and the flowers too..The colours you see are vibrant, but the real card is even more vibrant..I hope iI have shown it to its best ..
Thank you for taking the time to visit :)xx

I have just brought a lovely personalised rubber stamp for the

Sasayaki Glitter Challenge reminder Card

Hiya for today's card I have coloured the image in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card,I then used Pastel chalks on the background taking care to set them with hair spray to prevent them from shedding..I then used a Tattered Lace basic torn circle die to cut the image out and used a scalloped circle to back the picture ,If I remember I believe it was one of my Tonic Dies. The other Die I used for down the side is a Xcut one I believe is called a floral Panel..I backed this with the same hot pink card as the circle and fussy cut around it,leaving a small overlap..I then used First Editions Floral Pavilion Papers which were also mounted on the same hot pink card too..And to finish the card I added some pretty small pearlised pink flowers to the center of the flowers on the floral panel...
Thank you for taking time to pop by :)xx

Sasayaki Glitter New Release

This is one of the cutest  New Releases for Sasayaki Glitter I have done in a while,I love them all but he is just so cute and fun to colour, even if it took over three hours to make the balloons look transparentlol....I have coloured him in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card and done the background with pastel chalks then mounted him onto craft card.I thin added my wiggly line around to finish the picture.I then used some lovely Tonic Papers which were just right for this project and mounted them onto craft card too..To finish I added an assortment of pre-brought flowers which just finished the card off.
Thank you for popping by :)xx

Saturday Sketch ..Star Stampz

For this weeks challenge I was excited to colour one of the Star Stamps ,it is a first for me ,so its great to do something different for a change..I have coloured her in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card, the background has been done using chalks I love these as they can give a soft or very dramatic background..but if using don't forget to fix,I just spray over with hair spray as taught many years ago at school lol! and cheerful lol!..For mounting papers and the image I have used Centura Pearl in a lovely deep brown like a rich chocolate,Yummy!..The Papers are First Editions Floral Pavilion ..I used 3D glue gel to fix the topper onto the card and the flag..To finish I did a hand written Sentiment and added a Pretty pink rose and a couple of punched leaves..
Thank you for Popping by and Have a Happy Easter :)xx

World Wide Open DT Challenge Inspiration Card

Hiya ,for this months card I have coloured this beautiful creation from the lovely talented Julia Spiri with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card.I then cut out ,mounted onto white then onto craft card to create a nice frame around her..I used backing papers from First Editions Love Letters which were also mounted onto craft card..I kept to one layer as the picture was to be the main feature, but I used a pretty panel die I cut in white and mounted onto some green card to bring out the pattern more. This was brought from Ebay ,not sure which maker ,sorry..but the butterfly and the LOVE was cut from dies I purchased from China and were cut in craft card..I added an orangy brown heart to the LOVE ,its sparkly and a pretty tear shaped  gem in the same colour to the butterfly..To  finish I added some small white pearls ..

Sasayaki Glitter Yellow Challange Card

Hiya..For todays card I have had to go to the very bottom of the odd paper box..Yellow is a very hard colour to find , but I found some phew and a few pieces for off cuts too so sorry I do not know the names of the papers this time..The card I used to back it onto was Hunkydory..It is lush ,starts one end with one colour going onto another you will be seeing it a lot in the future lol!..The image was coloured onto Neenah card , with Polychromos Pencils..and cut it out with a Tonic Essentials Swirling Frame Layering Die..I backed it with the same yellow card I used to back the papers..After layering the card up I added the topper with 3D glue gel ,then cut a couple of the lovely tulips from the new Tattered Lace Blissful Blooms. but rather than use the cd to colour them I used SN Water Colour Pens,These were also added using 3D glue gel once shaped and this gave them more shape and definition..To finish I added some very tiny sparkling cristals here and there and a sentiment ..
Thank you for visiting :)xx

New Release at Sasayaki Glitter

Hi..This was a super fun card to create..I coloured the boy and dog in with Polychromos Pencils, then the background with pastel chalks..Then drew around the edge of the image and coloured it in leaving little white circles or part circles..this made a fab frame around the image and made it really fun too..The star was created using a Dutch Doobadoo template I used papers from First editions Nerolli and matted them onto black..I was going to just pop the star on ,then decided it needed a bit of green so I cut a piece of Kanban's Adorable Scoreable that starts from one side one colour then goes to another..Beautiful card stock love it ,so glad I got it now ..I did not emboss it on this occasion though as there was too much going on and I think it was the right decision too.. I layer that with black card too and when it came to the topper I added some of the green that was an off cut and then matted it onto the black so it all blended together..To finish I added some pretty sparkle star gems..Thank you for coming by :)xx

Sketch Saturday Challenge card

Hiya, sorry it has seemed a while since I posted ,but just not feeling good at all with my health lately..For today's I have used a lovely image from MMendel Illustrations..I like her work its different to most gives a feel of folk art and is really nice to colour too..I have chosen this couple as we are now going into the wedding seasons..I am not thrilled with my colouring on this one though as my Polychromos seem to be slipping on the card I was using ..which was the same as usual Neenah ..It kept picking up marks too ,so I think I have just got a piece of dodgy card ..You get that sometime's..I have done the background in pastel chalks for a soft effect....The papers have all been mounted onto craft card as was the image..These are from Tonics Folksy Florals paper pad, which I felt whet nicely with the image as the flowers in the background are nearly the same shape as the ones in the image.. For the cross piece and the horizontal piece I have done the wobbly edge around them to give a bit more interest to them before sticking them down to the main card. and to finish I mounted the topper on with 3D glue gel and wrote Love underneath and popped a line around the heart that just happened to be in the right spot he he ..Thank you for popping by :)xx
