Snow Much Love ..Glitter n Sparkle DT Card

Hiya ,this is a simple quick card ,but so pretty..I have coloured it with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card,then mounted it onto some beautiful teal card..Then using Dovecrafts Krafty Christmas Paper pack I chose a pale blue spot for the background and also mounted it onto the same card ..This was then added to a 7x7 card base..I then punched out what felt like a hundred snowflakes ,in between chasing my puppy off as she was trying to help lol..I did these in the off cuts in the teal card and in white.. I added the topper with 3D glue gel then decorated with the snowflakes..first I shaped then so they added some depth,once on to finish I added some tiny blue gems to add a touch of sparkle

All You Need Is A Cupcake .. 216 Avenue Create DT Card

The image I have used is from Stamplorations,I have coloured it on Neenah card with Polychromos Pencils andthe background and table I first coloured with pencils then uses a SN Sparkle pen in clear to go over the back and table ,this has given a depth of field to the image , sadly it does not pick up too well on the pics ,but looks stunning as it puts the whole focus onto the cakes at the front and just adds that bit of sparkle too, I then mounted it onto Black card ..The backing papers are from a Tonic pad called Folksey Floralsand arealso mounted onto black card..along with the sentiments..I used a 7x7 card base ,layered up the papers as you can see then added the topper with 3D glue gel to give a bit of height,stuck on the sentiments and added the red gems to finish..Thank you for popping bu :)xx

Be Thankful ..Saturday Inspiration for Morgan's Artworld

Hiya its Saturday once more and my Inspiration at Morgans's Artworld.. The theme the team is using is Thankful or Thank You so I have chosen this image as a celebrate the beautiful colours nature has given us and how thankful we shoud be for such an amazing pallate of colours.I have coloured her in using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card and added her to a beautiful russet backing card..I then made the Base card up by using the large Basic Tattered Lace Scalloped circles,and layered with Russet and a brown backing paper from my selection of Tonic papers,These are beautiful and thick and work lovely with this theme.. I then punched a lot of leaves from scrap card using a die I got from Hobbycraft as it is Late and sorting through loads of dies at two in the morning is not my favorite pass time lol ..These I couloured with my SN pens to mirror the lovely Autumn colours and once I added the Topped with 3D glue gel and a stopper I then placed as shown..to finish I added a Bird charm and a twine Bow thingy ..very technical I know lol..but it is four in the morning lol ...Thank you for visiting :)xx

Add a Sentiment .. Jullia Spirri DT Card

Todays pretty image i altered a touch by putting a couple of lines at the neckline to look like she has a jumper on,so I turned her from a summer image to a winter one ..outside the box thinking and I coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..I coloured her arms in as if she had a long sleeve jumper on and I popped tights under her little socks too....When done I drew around a Sue Wilson Die and added some detail of my own to make it stand out a bit more then mounted her onto some gold card and fussy cut around it to ad a bit of shine around the edge..I then went around the pen and pencil edge with Crafter's Companion new Sparkle pens to give a bit of sparkle ,subtle but pretty.The backing papers I have used are Dovecrafts Krafty Christmas and these were mounted onto craft card..Because I used a deckle edged card I rounded the corners on the one side as I like mine that way as it feels odd to me to do the same on the straight edge too ..The gold edge border is a Crafters Companion Christmas Egability and was used to pull the gold through from the topper ..The Dies for the poinsettias are ..Larger ..Mariane Designs and the small I believe are Britania Dies..The Ivy is  Crafters Companion.. I added a sentiment ,backing with craft card and red pearls to the center of the flowers to finish..Thank you for popping by..I really do appreciate you coming by and your support :)xx

Add Some Red ..Glitter n Sparkle DT Card

Hiya, this weeks card is using a Morgan Fitzsimons Stamp.. I have coloured it using Polychromos Pencil Neenah card.. All the papers are from Crafter's Companion cd Flights of Fantasy featuring Morgans beautiful artwork and also a full disc just dedicated her digital stamps ,so pop on to their shop here is the link to the cd  Flights of Fantasy by Morgan Fitszimmons ..All the layers are mounted and layered onto CC craft card,and the papers that I have used have come from the co -ordinating papers section ,I did adjust the red background to suit myself on the cd..
After putting the initial red background onto the 8x8 card I then used a smaller oblong piece in a nice green dot to start the matting ,then did a thinner strip and put a thin layer of red through it ,all the layers are matted onto craft card ,but explained so that those who are newer at card making can understand.. The topper was then matted onto Craft card and I cut a piece of the beige linen effect to create a faux frame around the image because it is a very busy one and it got lost on the other papers..I then added the topper to this and then mounted to the card using 3Dglue gel by Collall ,my go to glue as it fixed anything ,but also lifts the topper slightly giving the card a bit more depth..All that was needed was four faux Pearl gems to bring the beige though to the other side ..Label will go on when sent or sold ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Beautiful Holly.. Glitter n Sparkle Weekly Challenge DT card

The Challenge I was thrilled to colour this stunning image..I have with a lovely embosed piece of red miri card embossed with an embossing folder from Crafters Companion Vintage Christmas, this was then mounted onto craft card  then onto an 8x8 card base..The beautiful Image Holly from Ikes Art at Stitchy Bears Digital Stamps .I used Polychromos onto Neenak card and mounted her onto craft card.. I then cut two sets of CC Diesire snowflakes out and arranged some below the image and some above .I finished off be adding gems that catch the light to the middle of the snowflakes This is one of those cards that looks beautiful on here but even more so in real ,such a shame that using lights to take photos does change the colours slightly,,Thank you for popping by :)xx

Little Girl with Big Poppies 613 Avenue Create Challenge DT card

I just love this quaint little girl ,so reminiscent of old cards of children in their frocks and hats My first thoughts when I did thes was to make it into a Rememberance Sunday for all the fallen soldiers,but the them is Thank you for the Challenge so needed that on the front ..But at the same Time I and many of you would like to say thank you to any soldier or Sailor who gave their lives ..This card will not be sold nor given away as to me it is my Personal respect fot each service man or woman but I will donate the cost I would have recieved for card to the Poppy apeal xx .. Ok I used to dress like that when I was little so I am no spring chicken he he ..I have coloured her using Marco Rafine Pencils on Neenah card,and mounted her onto craft card.The backing papers are from a Tonic Paper pad,I used a full one mounted onto craft card and a smaller full length dot one mounted once more onto craft card,but I edged it with red lace and popped some red satin heart ribbon down either side of the center card..This was thenglued to the backing card..I then added the topper with 3D gel glue and added a double bow in the same ribbon as I used before,finishing it with a single white rose, finally added a handwritten sentiment ..Thank you for popping by :) xx

Glamourous in Gold My Besties UK

Todays new challenge kicks off today with adding gold ..yes I think I think I have got the brief right ermm!!..well was playing and got carried away having fun ..but I actually like the effect and If this lovely lady was real I think she would have aproved of all the flashy gold lol.. She is coloured using Polychromos on Neenah card,then mounted onto Gold card and fussycut as did not have the next die up ..so do not look too close lol..The papers are from a Tonic Paper pad and also added to Gold card..A little tip ..I buy the cheaper kids card from Hobycraft as one it saves money but two because it is not as shiny and has a more satin effect which I actually prefer..You also get twice as much in a pack too.I mpunted the paper on the card and cut two widths in gold card as you will see in one picture..I then put some glitter gold ribbon around the middle of the largest and glued it to the background ..then added a thinner strip..I then popped the topper on wit 3D gel glue and popped on the bow..It still felt empty so I punched some small flowers out with a Hobbycraft Punch and shaped them and added them to the strips left showing , and gave the young lady gem earings  to finish.. Morgans Artworld Red Witch

Hiya ..Today is my DT card for my Saturday Inspiration at Morgans Artword..I have created an alternative Halloween card..All withes are not green or nasty lol..I have coloured this image onto Neenah card using Polychromos Pencils, I then mounted her onto Black card..Trimmed all around the card with black lace to represent cobwebs. I then put another piece of black card onto the back to help hold the lace into position. Then taking a 7x7 card blank I created an easel card to which I added some backing papers from a Tonic Paper pad and mounted onto black card before gluing into place..I created a stopper and using the same lace and some black ribbone I decorated it before gluing into place..I added a small metalic ribbon bow and a red ribbon rose then glued the topper in position, adding a matching bow..To finish I added a few red faux pearls..Thank you for popping by xx

A Little Bit of Fantasy with Julia Spiri Challenge DT card

Hiya , Todays card is Julia Spiri's lovely little Genie, reminds me of I Dream of Genie that used to be on telly when I was a kid whoops showing my age now lol..I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card and cut her out as I did not want any background ,white or my own behind her.The papers are from a Papermania cd on my Do crafts cd as I remembered this pretty background that I wanted and thought it would be just perfect for this card..All the papers are mounted onto purple card before being glued to the 8x8 card base.On top of the middle layer I used an offcut of the purple card and wraped some lace I found in the bottom of my ribbon box..I then ran a ribbon across the middle and attatched to the paper using Collall 3D glue gel .I then mounted the final piece that was going to hold the image using 3D glue gel.. I then Cut and embossed two half doileys from the Crafters Companion Downton Abbey range in white and coloured with a Tim Holtz Milled Lilac ink pad.. And cut a Purple frame frome one of the offcuts of card,usung one of the ornate frames rom the Downton Abbey range also..Love these dies they are just stunning ..I carefully added gel glue behind these cut pieces and popped them in place as shown.Added the Label,a few flower gems and jewel gems and finally a bow to match the ribbon to finish..Thank you for visiting xx

Autumn Birthday Card for Fall theme at Glitter n Sparkle Challenge ..

Hiya ..This weeks card is a beautiful image from Stitchy Stamps by BBK ,but the link is below.. I have coloured her with Polychromos onto Neenah card..I then mounted her onto orange card..The backing papers are from my Do Craft Digital Studio from one of the kits on there and I have changed the colour to suit,then also mounted these onto orange card...I knew there was some pretty small floral papers on there that I did not have in physical papers..These were all added to the card base which was 8x8 with all Purpose Collall glue.I mounted the fairy onto the card using 3d Glue gel by Collall and also mounted all the leaves the same way..These were cut using a punch that I brought fom Hobbycraft ,was not expensive and it also puts in the veins too ..I cut these in Orange,Patterned and Gold Pearlescant ,to represent all the beautiful colours that are around us at the moment.. Funny and Cute Halloween ..Glitter n Sparkle Weekly Challenge

Had fun with this one too this week..it is my own creation ..I coloured the Sami stamp up in Polychromos Pencils..I just love her and thought shame she has no hat ..so I drew one out on Paper then cut it out in black card,first I drew everything on in white pencil and felt it was not enough so I then went all around it all with my white pen ,put some red and yellow on the background ,placed the cut out witch in place .It looked fine so 3D  gel glued  her into place and cut a strip of grass from an off cut of cordinations in green , drew on some leaves and stalks and popped on some faux pearl flowers to bring the purple down.. I then popped a small stand onto the back so it will stand on its own..Thank you for visiting my blog xx

Create your own challenge ...613 Avenue Create DT Card

This is one of my Favourite Morgan Fitzsimmons images ,it is so pretty and has so much detail too..I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card.. I found the last two sheets oth this paper which went perfectly with this topper so I popped it through a Tonic embossing folder to give texture,mounted it onto craft card..Then cut a thinner strip mounted this and added some pretty lace from my stash and glued it ontobase... The flowers are Spelbinders Bitsie Blossoms 6 and I have also used CC Die sire ivy dies and the leaf dies from the flowers..I do use a lot of craft card,it is recycled and it does look really lovely on most cards and does not take your eyes off what you are trying to focus on ..but most of all it is recycledThank You for visiting xx

Thinking outside the box with ... Same But Different My Besties UK

This is the time of the month we all use the same stamp on the team..but I thought hmm something different so I got my pencil out and drew and inked two funny Ghosts and a couple of Gravestones and coloured the stamp in with blacks and oranges .. The Stamp is coloured with Polychromos on Neenah card..The papers are from my do crafts Papermania capsule on Do crafts Digital and just perfect for this card and pretty too ..All are mounted onto black card  and glued onto an 8x8 card..I then glued on the ghosts and the gravestones ,then added the Bestie with 3D glue gel to give a bit more depth.. and added the famous saying onto a piece of off cut black card and also added with the 3D glue gel..Hope you like my bit of fun I loved making this one ,Thanks for visiting xx

My First Saturday Card Inspiration for Morgan Fitzsimmons Artworld

I first came across Morgan's stamps when Crafter's Companion brought out their cd Flights of Fantasy..Well I just love her work and was thrilled to be asked as a guest designer when I won with my Pink Dragon a while ago..To feel dissapointed as with my health problems affecting my eyes..I can colour ,but sitting in front of Pc was a problem as affected my vision ..I could not be on team as you need to comment ..But they found a space for me I have a Saturday spot every fortnight so here is my first yippee..This Beautiful lady is coloured using Polychromos onto Neenah card..I have used a Tattered Lace center stepper die for the card ,which saves me folding and pain ..,The papers are from a Do Crafts capsule I have on my  Digital designer by them..all are mounted onto craft card..I love craft card ,it is my new gold ..It understates some papers and allows them to shine and allows others to fit nicely as if they were meant to be.. After all the Matting and layering I decorated with CC Diesire Ivy die and with Spellbinders Bitty blossoms 6 my new go to flower as they are just a nice size ..The actual topper is cut from one of the Spellbinder label dies but sorry I cannot remember which... You will note a lot of my cards do not have tags on..this is because I label them when they are given away or sold as I personalise most of mine ..Thank you for visiting I really do appreciate you taking the time .Hugs xx
